Please stop using “real-time” to describe your solutions for business intelligence processes and communications.

Real-time electronic communication began in 1866 with the first transatlantic telegraph cable; before that real-time communication allowed single-celled organisms to multiply and animals to survive.

Indeed, real-time communications lies at the core of human evolution, the development of civilization and the creation of even the most rudimentary technological tools.

There really is no older concept than real-time communication.
